PIP decision made on Monday and no payment by Friday
Hi, I called to check if there had been a decision made about my PIP claim on Tuesday and I was told one was made on Monday and to expect a letter soon. I didn't bother to ask what the decision was as I know they cannot.
Today is Friday and has been five days now since the decision and no payment has been made and I have tried the calling hack using the option 1 and 6 and entering my details but it rings out to speak to an operator. Not an automated message re when payments may be due.
Also, I have not received a text message to pay I have been awarded.
Am I now correct to 10% assume I was not awarded?
I have been OK with the wait so far. But as we are now headed for the weekend I am quite anxious to know more. So any input would be greatly appreciated.
Started claim in June 2024.
Thank you. :-)

The decision letter is probably in the post.
The only way you will find out is to wait for the letter or ring and ask for the outcome.
All the best.

Heya @discoveringmycity and welcome to the community. 😊
As LuvPink has said, it's best to just wait for the letter, as the automated line is notoriously incorrect. It can sometimes a few weeks to receive a letter and payment, but please try not to worry too much!

The automated payment information is no longer option 6. It may give information just before you join the queue to speak to an advisor but it doesn't always tell you. If it does then that's no always correct either.
You can ring and ask what the decision was and they will tell you. If you're not happy you can challenge it by requesting the Mandatory Reconsideration.
