Winter fuel allowance Help

Hi there everyone,

Just wanted to ask anyone if you've had an email about winter fuel allowance and so on and in text message like this one which looks fake to me .. anyone else had a message like this didn't think I was in line for a winter allowance 🤔

    The Winter Fuel Payment is not paid to those under state pension age.

    There’s the Warm Home discount if entitled. If you live in England or Wales it’s paid automatically if entitled and you do not need to claim it. This is £150 paid either onto your energy account or as vouchers if you have a prepayment meter.

    There are no further cost of living payments as they have all now ended.

    There’s also the Cold Weather Payment if you live in England or Wales if the temperature drops below zero for 7 consecutive days but it’s automatically paid if you qualify. It’s £25 for each 7 days below that temperature.

    Other than that there’s nothing further.

    I would advise you to ignore that information you’re reading there because usually it’s not correct.

    Yes definitely ignoring this message fake message, I just hope no one else is getting these fake messages and think they are real 😔
