I am 18 months away from reaching state pension age and have heard that those approaching this age may not be transitioned to Universal Credit.
Could you kindly confirm if this is correct?

Aa far as I know, everyone on ESA should receive a migration notice by December 2025.
I've not read or heard anything else.

I didn't receive this information from official sources; rather, a benefits advisor at a charity shared it, and it appeared to reflect his personal opinion. So Kimmy87 is probably correct.
The anticipation of the migration letter keeps me on edge.

Reaching state pension age in 18 months will not exempt you from migrating to UC unfortunately.
