Hello I've been asked by mcmillian to try for extra 1 point to getting tge enchant rate . So I phoned up for a review form I have stage 2 terminal cancer and other health issues they had my letter on the 23rd of last month I've now received a text message this morning that my form has been completed and will receive a letter in the next 2 weeks I only been getting the first rate of pip and I got awarded mobilty .mcmillian said I was only one point out and that I should be able to have more points on top I'll bejust happy with the 1 extra point they lied in the last one just one saying I could go out on my own which I can't cause I can hardly walk and use my walker .and I'm partly deaf . I can't get over how quick this has come bk dunno if I'll get extra or what . But I'm just hoping mcmillian is right x

    Hi @shirleycurley and welcome to the community 😊 I'm so sorry to hear you have terminal cancer. Are you finding the support from Macmillan useful?

    I hope the review comes back and you're awarded enhanced. Just so you're aware, there is a possibility that your PIP award could reduce when they review it. It seems unlikely but I just wanted you to know. You can ask for a mandatory reconsideration but fingers crossed it all goes well. Keep us updated.

    Thank Rachel I phoned up this morning . I'm having the enchant rate the extra point I needed . I am finding mcmillian very useful and very kind and nice all I want to do is go bk home to llanelli I've been bidding and bidding and still not been offered anything I'll be more happy when I can hopefully it won't be to long been bidding the last 18 months yet I'm on band B I've been on chemo therepy the last 18 months to the 3 spots went but on the last mri they found a lump that's grown a little bit . I've got to phone the doctor tomoz for my hip and knees results which not had to thought would have given results after 2 grrr all I want is to move back to a smaller place and settle down ty for getting g in touch xx

    Oh dear I didn't see you'd already reached out to Macmillan when I commented earlier in the welcome discussion @shirleycurley, I do apologise!

    I hope you're able to move back to Llanelli. I'm assuming the council know about your health situation?
