Struggling waiting for tribunal

Hi all! I am on tribunal stage of PIP I applied for it. After getting 0 points every time. I haven’t heard from them since July last year they don’t seem to understand how my HS affects affects me. It’s heartbreaking the amount of surgeries and agony I have suffered pilonidal sinuses x7 left open and packed with seaweed and stitched shut. Surgery to remove abscesses under both my arms, hospital admissions to drain abscesses between my legs inside my thighs and at Christmas last year I had a massive abscess right in my groin that was horrendous! I feel dirty, smelly I don’t want to leave my flat I have to be careful what to wear so my dressings don’t show and the worst thing is even when my abscesses are golf ball size they won’t lance them so I have to go for weeks in pain. The thing that really annoys me is that alcoholic and druggies can get help for their problems and get PIP straight away yet I have Hydradentis Superativa no treatment and no cure FOR LIFE and I get refused it’s disgusting I wish I could complain how unfair and dismissive Pip is making me feel I just feel at my wits end :-(

Hi @Ewestern82
Thank you so much for reaching out.
It sounds like you're really struggling with feeling dismissed by PIP. I'm so sorry that you are feeling this way. I can see you've been trying to get support for HS for a while now and are fed up with how it's all making you feel.
Managing the many surgeries that you've had sound really difficult. You don't deserve to feel dirty and smelly, I can how important that is to you.
My colleague @Jimm_Scope will give you an email today about what you've been dealing with. In the mean time some take for yourself or take a look at the community, there's lots of things to explore here 😊
Take care,
Jemima She/Her
