For PIP reviews you will receive a form to fill in first, you won't just have the review without that. Have you received the form yet?
UC migration, yes it's not an automatic transfer. Citizens advice have a help to claim phone number and they will help and support you through the process. See link.
If you're in the Support Group for ESA you'll be entitled to the LCWRA element of UC from the start of your claim. You will not need another work capability assessment.

Hi @gailychops, welcome to the community 😊 I can certainly understand the concern around forgetting about things with your assessment. Can I ask if there is anyone who can attend the assessment with you that knows about your conditions well enough, or that you can explain to them well enough how it affects you so they can help you answer?
You can also try writing as much as you can down in some form of notes, so you can go through them with the assessor than worrying about forgetting it. You can read more about preparing for your PIP assessment in our advice section here: Preparing for your PIP assessment | Disability charity Scope UK

Hi thanks for reply I will try to takes down notes etc and memories as best it's the curve balls I probably will mess up, would you happen to know if you can choose whether phone call or home visit? I cannot travel to assessment in person they did offer me a home visit last time but it was 7 years ago.Thanks.

You can request a home visit, however I do not believe they are required to fulfill such a request it is something they should provide if deemed necessary. You may be asked to give medical reasoning as to why you cannot travel to an assessment sentence or do a telephone assessment.

I was reading somewhere that the dwp can check what sites you go onto on your computer or phone does anyone know if this is true? Also I think I am being watched I have seen a Mercedes with and older man smart with shirt and tie just sits for half an hour writing on a phone, iv seen him numerous times ver the last few months, I'm never out so bit concerned here.

Hi @gailychops, where did you read this information if you don't mind me asking? I can understand why you might be worried after reading something like that.
The DWP don't have the power to access your computer or phone without the police being involved as this would be a serious breach of your privacy. It's also very rare that they'd send out someone to watch your activity.
Local taxi drivers will often sit in their cars on my road just looking at their phones while they wait for a new job to come up, could the man in the Mercedes be doing something like that?

No he was around late 60's very smart shirt and tie in a Mercedes, and right outside where he can see in my window I've seen the car numerous times but not dropping off or collecting anyone. Not sure where I read about them knowing what your looking up on computer etc. i'm sure it was a legit site. I read today also that they are thinking of going ahead with the vouchers. What the hell can you buy in a disability shop every month, also keep receipts for purchases and one off vouchers.I will be finished and I wont be alone.

@gailychops, Unfortunately we've still not heard any confirmed plans about what's next for PIP.
I have seen some places reporting that the government haven't completely ruled out using vouchers for PIP, but that doesn't mean that it will definitely become the only option they're considering. There's a lot of speculation about it in the news at the moment, it can be really difficult to know what's correct.
This is what Rachel Reeves said recently:
"I will be putting forward our own proposals to reform sickness and disability benefits. This is extremely difficult and I know people really want more detail, but we won’t do that until we’re absolutely ready and have had the proper discussions with people."
So hopefully we'll hear some more solid information from the government over the next few months.

Hi again, can you tell what are the main things I should concentrate on for a review as I am reading so many things it's mixing me up. Should I concentrate on the descriptors seeing what points I got and what I got them for reading my old form and/or is there anyone who can guide me to what questions are going to be asked as I never see on any forums anyone giving as many questions they can remember to maybe help people I know they don't owe anybody anything. Also the curve balls.Thank you Gail.

You have been really helpful and I thank you so much,. I have just realized that I have had a new diagnosis a year ago and I can't remember if I contacted the dwp to let them know my memory isn't great and also on my old application 7 years ago I looked back and it does mention my brother in most of the answers but it doesn't say that he is my carer, and i'm pretty sure that I didn't contact them I thought it happened automatically when he applied for careers allowance.I am so stupid and very worried I don't know what to say to them in the change of circumstances form. I cant sleep for worrying about getting into trouble.

First of all, you are not stupid. These forms are not easy to fill in.
Secondly, diagnosis does not matter as much as describing exactly how your conditions ,whether diagnosed or not, affect you.
You should fill in this review form with all the details you can. If anything in your old application still applies, put it in this new form. The DWP will not look at that seven year old application when making a decision, they will only look at what you put into this new form.
If your brother is still your carer you should mention that, you should mention all the ways he helps you and what would happen if he didn't help you. If there's any real life examples of times you've tried doing something without his help and it has severely affected you or your day you should mention that in the form under the appropriate question.
