Hi, my name is ange688! Courts are ignoring my medical records - any advice?
My name is ange i have cerebral palsy because of being born at 29 weeks hada brain haemmorrage at 18 days old had my first shunt at 20 days old.i walk with sticks i have a 6 year old daughter my adopted sister is trying to get a special guardianship order for my exaggerating my disabilities to the courts courts have completely ignored my medical records,even though ive walked with my sticks in front of several court judges.social services are backing me.i have lived in my own flat since age 24 im now 44 with NO Social care help ive shown records of this but courts are still believing my adopted sister i have been fighting in court for nearly two years but courts are ignoring medical and social services recotds

Hi @ange688, welcome to the community. Sorry to hear what's been happening to you, that sounds really distressing. I'm afraid I don't have much experience of this, but I hope some of our members might have been through similar circumstances and can share their thoughts.
Have you had any legal advice through the process or has it mostly been through social services?
I'll also tag @Richard_Scope who is our Cerebral Palsy lead in case he has some ideas.
