I got awarded my Pip today
I don't want to go into to much detail but it is depressing when it says on your form that you can't cut up food or you can't get in and out the shower when sometimes I do.

I had this with my PIP claim too. I was asked about several Daily Living activities and my reply was, yes I can do those.
When the results came I've scored the highest points for not being able to do them.
With PIP, unless you can do an activity reliably, repeatedly and in a reasonable amount of time, you are treated as unable to do the activity.
I guess my assessor failed me on that test, which is probably right.
We all get so used to our problems and ways of coping, that it takes an outside view to make us realise the truth.
And it's very depressing being exposed to that truth.
I hope the PIP money makes a positive difference to your life, I know it has mine 😊

I can empathise @durhamjaide2001 seeing things written down on paper can be a real shock even if you can sometimes do the thing, but I hope the award was what you were hoping for at least. ❤️

Probably better than them saying you can when you can't like a lot of people get :)
