Bipolar diagnosis - feeling irritable. A lot going on.

Hi
I have a diagnosis of bipolar. There's a lot going on in my life and I feel irritable sometimes. In my job, I get irritable and it's been noticed. I told them I had health problems. They just want no irritability. They don't seem to understand even though other people get irritable too.
Feeling less inclined to wash my hair and shower these days. I think it's because of Winter.
I know I'm lucky. I have a job and some parts of it I love and other parts I don't. But it's good I'm in employment because I wasn't always and it was difficult.
I think I'll have a shower and do some self care as I need to really. Thank you.

Hi @Scopetolive, welcome to the community. I'm really sorry things are feeling tough at the moment.
Do you have any close friends or family who can help talk things through or support you? I hope the community can be a place to chat about what you're going through too, I'm sure lots of us know what it's like to feel misunderstood.
Have you got any time booked off over Christmas to have a rest and take a break from work?
Hope things start feeling easier soon.

I have my mother but I don't get on with my father. I don't look forward to Christmas as I'm from a rural area and it's very isolated. I know it's only for a few days.
