Can I challenge a camhs assessment
Hi there my 15 year old daughter has Autism but both me and my daughter strongly suspect she also has adhd. We waited 2 year for her to be assessed which was in 1 hour by one man then it went to a panel of people who have never met my daughter. Well the decision was given to us yesterday that yes she has adhd traits but not enough for a diagnosis of adhd both me and my daughter disagree with this decision and just wanted to know if we can appeal the decision or ask for another assessment. Thankyou for reading

Yes you can usually ask for another assessment if you don’t agree with the outcome but you may have to wait from the point of referral again.
