Assessment Report

Hello, just wondering if anyone had experienced this before. I requested my report on the 19th November but then found out a week later it was not sent as the DWP had referred it back to the assessment provider. On the 3rd December the updated report was then issued and was told it would arrive this week. I have called this morning for an update on this and they have confirmed none of these have actually been sent out, the lady on the phone said she has just sent one again this morning but this will have been the third request. She said it again it will be another 7-10 working days?
Has this happened to anyone else? I believe my decision will be already made before I receive the assessment report.

Yes, it does happen sometimes unfortunately. There's nothing more you can do to be honest. Hopefully you'll receive it soon.

Thank you. I received a letter this morning saying that they have all the information they need to make a decision so hopefully not to long.

I had a similarish situation where DWP kept saying they didn't have a copy of the report. I did an SAR with DWP and received my file along with a copy of the report they claimed they didn't have. It turned out DWP had requested another assessment as they felt the scoring was too high on my first assessment.
I ended up going to Tribunal (I did a paper one) and had all the information by then so could show how DWP were trying to ensure I didn't get an award. I was given enhanced on both by Tribunal.0 -
That is interesting as I had my assessment on the 19th November and I thought it went well, I called a couple of weeks after and found out that 2 days after the report was received it was actually sent back to the assessment provider. As stated in my last post I have still not been given access to my assessment just the letter that says they have enough information. I have had to call as my condition has negatively changed dramatically since I first applied. I am now not holding much hope.

You may need another assessment. The only reason it goes back is because DWP are not happy with what the assessor has said and points suggested. Do an SAR to get a copy of the report.

An SAR will give you more detail. It will include correspondence between the Assessors and DWP and importantly, why it was returned to the assessor.
