Hi, what are the success rates of the mandatory reconsideration process. Is it worth the stress?

I understand that it's around 16%. However, you have to ask for an MR first before you can appeal to a tribunal where the success rate is around 65%. So, yes, an MR is a necessary process you have to go through in order to appeal.0 -
It's 11%. I won mine.0

As at Dec 2016 Disability Rights state that over 80% of MRs remain unchanged.0

Hi Sarahlou73
A relatively low proportion are changed on mandatory reconsideration. But about 60% are changed by appeal tribunals where you have an oral hearing and attend.
There's no cost and in our opinion it is well worth a go!
Good luck
David
