Merry Xmas Meeeeee πβ¨οΈππππππ

Well @poppy123456 and @Rosie_Scope the outcome was good ππΌππΌ
I also had a call Friday I didn't hear my phone the first time but yep I was given high rate living and standard mobility. Was told the koney should be in my account 3-5 days and he said he was processing it then (On the Friday) So I'm hoping it will go in tonight as due to personal reasons I really wasn't in the Xmas mood but the back pay surely cheered me up π With it being Xmas do anyone know how this might effect my payment?? I'm with Santander and tbf I get payed a day earlier than my partner even tho our payments are the same day lol mine goes in at 10:30 pm where my wife has to wait until 2:30am the following morning, Well I day a day in reality it only a few hours but it's still processed quicker. I'm just hoping I don't have to wait ages now as it is Xmas after all. Well thanks for the earlier advice both, I hope you have a beautiful Xmas and just as beautiful New year π

Thatβs great news! Yes 3-5 working days for money to go into your bank. I would say you probably wonβt receive it until after Christmas now.

I've just rang 08001214433 and was told that it won't be payed until the 31st but jot only was I hoping and tbh preying it would go in sooner the lady on the phone told me the amount I will be getting payed but its nearly 1 and half thousand less to what the gentleman told me I would be getting when he rang me on Friday...... I pray she got it wrong lol but from what I've read the amount and details given on that number aren't always correct amni right in believing this ?? @poppy123456

My claim goes from 31st July to now obviously, So I got enhanced daily living and standard mobility. I've just don't the math which I'll be honest I'm not the best at ππ€£ But I worked it out to be Β£2,745 which I think is about right as the gentleman who rang me friday told me it was just over 2 and half thousand, But the lady I just spoke to said you will be getting Β£1,400...... So I politely tried correcting her saying what the man had told me and she was like I don't know where he hot that number from like it was into the millions π€£π€£ So i asked her the date my claim was from (The 31st) and said my thankyous and goodbyes and 2 mins on the calculator and if ANYONE who is wayyyyy off I'm pretty sure and actually PRAYING it's her π€£π€£

Based on your award your calculation is correct. You will need to wait to see what's paid into your bank and go from there.
As an added thought do you owe any money at all to DWP for any debt? If you do then they can take what you owe them from what they owe you.
31st December for payment sounds about right due to Christmas closing days and then the weekend.

Jones everyone had a good Christmas π βΊοΈ I was just wondering if they are allowed to just take money off me if I've already set up a payment plan which I've been paying off ?? Surely they would have to ask me and not just take it bout of my money ?? Has anyone known to have spike to someone and had tge wrong amount or been payed a different amount to what they was told they were having??

Yes they can take any money you owe them from the money they owe you. If this causes you hardship you can ask if they can take less but you'll need to contact debt management for this.

So I've just received this letter and from what I can make out is they think I'm in SUPPORTED/SHELTERED accommodation and I'm not. I'm in temporary accommodation there is no support here so do this meen I should be entitled to the other Β£1,700 They have deducted from my money or is temporary accommodation the same as SHELTERED/SUPPORTED accommodation?? I'm guessing as they THINK I've been getting support here that's their reasoning for it, But as I've mentioned I'm not and although the two and quite often confused and sound similar in terms of support they are actually worlds apart...... Has anyone else been in this or know of anyone who's been in a similar situation ?? Many thanks in advance. Steve π P.S Hope everyone had a good Christmas

That letter is completely wrong anyway, even if you were living in supported/sheltered accommodation. Neither of those would prevent you from being entitled to the daily living part. You would only be prevented from receiving this if you're in living in a care home or you're in hospital.
You will need to ring PIP tomorrow when they open and tell them exactly where you're living.

So it ain't me thinking they're just finding ways to not pay me lmfaoo π€£ That's definitely wrong then yeh ?? From the dates they have given me which tbf seem about right and the rates they have agreed to pay me I worked it out to be Β£2,745 That I was owed, That's 20 weeks of Β£108.55 + Β£28.70 And if you don't count the last week which I think they have anyway but even at 19 weeks it still works out to be Β£2,607.75 So I'm not just being paranoid or crappie at math am I ππΌπ€£π€£

You are correct and as I advised you will need to ring them tomorrow when they open at 9am.
