Hi, my name is Openbox67! Will overpayments affect my ESA claim?
I’ve just been told by the DWP that I owe them nearly £28,000 which they have overpaid me because I never told them when my 2 sons turned 18 years old our child tax credits automatically stopped at the time this all happened in lockdown my 2 sons still live with us but are both are now working so how can this affect my ESA benefit claim

Does your ESA award include the Severe Disability Premium?
You mention "us" do you also live with a partner?
Do they receive benefits?

Hey @Openbox67 and welcome to the community.
I can see Kimmy is already asking the important questions we need to be able to help you here, so I don't want to intrude. I just wanted to say a quick hello and I hope your issues can be sorted quickly.0
