Hi everyone, I have received a call from the DWP offering me a deal to avoid going to court, has this happened to anyone else?

Yes I've seen this happen several times to others on the forum.
Were you happy with the offer?

Kimmy87, Yes, In my application I got 0 points and now they are offering me 10 for daily living and 8 for mobility, I told them that I would discuss it with my lawyer and call me back on the 6th for my response, I feel anxious thinking that they won't call me back

Unless you don't want the stress of going to court i would say decline the offer and fight for it

You can accept that offer, wait for the award to be put into payment and then request another Tribunal. The waiting time will start from scratch again but at least there will be an award in payment while you wait. You do not need to go through another MR request.
