Your carer will be a non dependant. Are you claiming either PIP daily living, Adult disability Payment daily living (ADP Scotland only) or DLA mid/high rate care? If so there will be no non dependant deductions for your rent.
Capital limits are the same for all means tested benefits. Up to £6,000 is ignored. For every £250 or part thereof over this amount there's a £4.35/month deduction in UC. Over £16,000 and entitlement to all means tested benefits will end.
For those migrating from Tax credits if they have more than £16,000 this will be disregarded for 12 months.
If you're in the Support Group for ESA then you'll be entitled to the LCWRA element of UC from the start of your claim.
Income Related ESA and Housing benefit will continue for 2 weeks once you submit a claim for UC.
Citizens Advice have a help to claim phone line so you can contact them for help with the migration process. See link.

hello thank you for getting back to me yes I get pip that's why my career was down as a non-dependent but do they take he savings into consideration when I apply for universal credit

As you are not a couple, then you are considered seperate households for benefits purposes.
Your carers savings will not effect your UC claim.

Thank you for getting back to me the information out there was really confusing he's got 8 thousand as he is saving up to pay off a loan he's took out and I'm worried that they're going to take that into consideration even though he's not my partner he just lives with me as a non-dependent as I get pip

Hello @bartsomers. As Kimmy has said, your carer's savings should not impact your Universal Credit claim.

UC has the same capital rules as your current benefits, neither of them take into consideration other savings from other members of the household. (unless it's a partner)
