Hello @Catherine21, sorry you're having a bad day with anxiety.
Do you take any sort of medication to help with it? Breathing exercises are a great way to calm yourself down. Do you have any ways you normally distract yourself from the worry about bad things happening?

@Catherine21 tbh I try and sleep. May not be the best remedy but it's the only way I can shut off. Hoping things get better for you. We're all here for you.

@Catherine21 sorry you are feeling this way.If you haven't got any.Perhaps order some some jigsaw puzzles to help keep your mind occupied and focused.I find when I'm anxious which is pretty much all the time it's when I'm thinking or overly thinking or focusing on a situation. This might not be the same for you but just a thought and they are quite enjoyable

Hi Catherine, I try breathing excercises and if that doesn't work then get on the bed lay down listen to calming music and sometimes just sitting in the back garden and listening to nature helps if you have a garden. Get wrapped up warm and sit out there for a bit, I take propanalol and that helps, maybe you need a medication review to see if there's something else that will help your anxiety. Those adult colouring books are quite good too.
