If you look at your statement, it will include how much Transitional Protection you have.
Say your TP is £550.
The Housing Element you are entitled to is £500.
Your TP reduces to £50, because you are given £500 in Housing Element.
Financially, you remain on the same money.

Would I not get any soirt of housing benefit if I was on JSA? My father gets pension credit and housing benefit….. and it doesn't affect the amounts………..
