Hi, my name is Debstops13! I have just asked my gp for a supporting letter about my conditions
hi I have just asked my gp for a supporting letter about my conditions and how they effect me when I collected this I paid £20 for it on getting home and opened it it was a copy of my medical report and he had wrote one line on it as this is not what I asked for and it’s free to get a copy of medical record I challenged my surgery as my doctor is lovely and could not imagine him to charge this amount to be told by the practise manager and receptionist that it’s not up to him as it’s them who set the fee I think it’s disgusting that they say how much we pay

Hi @Debstops13 and welcome to the community.
That is disappointing, especially with having to pay. I'm guessing that what's written doesn't fully justify what you need it to with it being so short? Did you ask the surgery to add more detail as it doesn't fulfil your needs?
Best wishes,
Holly.
