Hi everyone and thanks for letting me join. I applied for lwrca last February fit notes were supplied and up to date. Had my assessment and got no points, appealed and also turned down on the mandatory reconsideration. I appealed again and the panel unanimously awarded me lwrca with 15 points. Will I get this straight away or will I have to wait the three months?

The waiting period starts from when you provided your first fit note. It's 3 full assessment periods and the extra money is then paid from the 4th month, with first payment being the end of that month.
As this was a Tribunal decision it can take up to about 8 weeks for UC to put the award into payment and pay anything that's owed.
