looking to get a credit card have not good credit history was wondering if anyone has ideas

    There are cards for those with bad credit ratings, and using them helps improve your credit score.

    They do attract eye watering levels of interest though. I would read the smallprint very carefully!

    Due to the higher levels of interest with those credit cards you would need to make sure you pay off the full balance each month, otherwise the interest will be through the roof.

    Martin Lewis's site (Money Saving Expert) has all the info you need on this.

    Make sure you pay off your credit in full at the end of each month. That's how you will help increase your credit score.

    Loqbox Save is a similar alternative that dosen't require you taking a credit card, but still reap the benefits of improvements to your credit score.
