Mounjaro

Suggested by a senior staff nurse I would benefit by going onto Mounjaro due to me being obese and being a diabetic. Clinician I spoke to gave me the impression I would not be able to.

If this is the case, do I have any redress?

    Thanks for you comment.

It sounds like the nurse and clinician need to discuss your case together, if they have differing opinions. I would suggest contacting the team to say your are unsure what to do next.

Could you arrange another appointment to talk through your concerns?

I’ve been on mounjara 5 weeks first 4 weeks I was on 2.5 mg now been up to 5mg so far I’ve lost 1 stone 5 lb which I’m happy about yes it’s via my drs who has been calling me every week to see how it going I’ve told him about how much I’ve lost & he hasn’t said it bad because I had a high bmi & I’m also diabetic type 2 & I was 19 stone 8 lb when I started on it plus I don’t like needles but it’s ready is a small one so anyone who is offered it the only side effect so far is eggy burps which are bad considering I don’t eat eggs myself
