Was this a new claim, or a review from LCW?
If a review from LCW, did the DWP send you the UC50 out of the blue?

Heya thanks for your reply ive been on uc for 4 years so not a new claim ,but I have bpd an been through diagnosis process an awaiting therapy for it an its taking /taken an age an I've kinda been left an forgotten about as it took someone chasing the decision makers from the assessment 11 months ago as there was no record of said assessmenton on my journal an no one had made a decision if that makes sense

Was this your first work capability assessment or did you have one previously to this when you last provided fit notes? If so what was the decision on that? LCW perhaps?
Sorry but it’s not clear why you haven’t provided fit notes for a couple of years.

Im honestly not sure what's going on with it all, im sure it's the only assessment I've had for uc, I was handing in fit notes for the first 2 years an they stopped asking for them, but I can't make sense of my online journal as some stuff doesn't show up on there like the assessment I'm referring to its like it was swept under the rug until this new job center super trooper contacted me

My last 5/6 appointments were all cancelled and rearranged after they had elapsed think up until last week I hadn't heard from them in 5 month just cancel the appointment an rearrange it,

Also I was moved onto uc from ssp if that makes any difference?

You can’t be moved onto UC from SSP. I’m afraid I can’t help you without all the information. All I can say is that because you didn’t continue to provide fit notes without gaps then this can affect when the extra money is paid from. In this case they are likely to start the waiting period from when the decision was made. Ultimately, it will be down to a decision maker to make the final decision.

Not looking for an argument but I was on ssp for 2 years an then the was moved me over to uc where I've been since, if they'd of asked me for fit notes I'd have gotten them but they stopped asking about them an thought I'm not chasing them about it, exactly the same with the assessment an taking 11 months for them to make a decision it's not down to me to be chasing job center workers if you see my point. Especially if your not 100% your going to win the decision ,

I wasn’t arguing. It’s impossible to be claiming SSP for 2 years because it’s only paid for up to 28 weeks. It’s also paid from an employer.
You’re claiming UC because you claimed it yourself, you can’t be moved into it automatically and certainly not after claiming SSP.
I can only advise you on the rules and you are expected to provide fit notes without any gaps.
What I don’t understand is why you stopped providing fit notes 2 years ago but didn’t have your assessment until April 2024. This is making me think that you had an assessment prior to that one and this is either a review started by UC or you reported changes to your health condition.
