Showing my age …. I love the 70's, Disco, Soul, Motown and I very often listen to Absolute 70's on the radio. They also have other era's.
But I do like a lot of the current chart music too.

I like late 70's/early 80's disco music. I love Frank Sinatra, The Carpenters, Glenn Miller and love listening to music from the musicals. But also love and been lucky enough to have been to see the Bee Gees, Michael Buble, Rod Stewart, Kylie, Queen, The Nolans, Andre Rieu ♥️. I sold my engagement ring to pay for 2nd row tickets to Andre Rieu in 2014 for Mum's 75th birthday (she had dementia and cancer). When he came on stage she remarked 'I thought he was blind' (in an accusing voice 🙄🫠,) ...... She'd got muddled up and thought it was another person we were seeing. One of my best memories ever that night (rip my lovely mum) ❤️

Metal, korn , Black veil brides, Black Sabbath, Wednesday 13, Murderdolls , Love and death, Pod , which is nu metal, Lacey Sturm . Growing up with older brothers who liked it in the 70s, also my daughter introduced me to newer ones around 10 years ago.

I like most types of music from Rock to Reggae, Hip-Hop to Garage my fav music would be Soul from Motown to RnB. I like singer's that sings with emotion and I do like a raspy voice like Lewis Capaldi, Rag n Bone Man.
A hobby of mine is to write song lyrics and the odd poem I find it a good way to get my feelings out and express myself.
