Moving from England to N Ireland, how will benefits change?

Hi moving from England to .N.Ireland will I be able to get help with my rent without moving to Universal Credit ? I'm reading that my ESA will move over directly ? Any guidance much appreciated.appreciated.Many

You would not be able to reclaim housing benefit for help with the rent in this situation because it's no longer possible to start a new claim, unless living in either supported or temporary housing.
Help with the rent would be through UC. Once you claim UC any Income Related ESA you're claiming will end 2 weeks later. You will not automatically move onto UC, you need to claim it yourself.
