Pip review won from tribunal

Hi there. Won my pip in tribunal. My award ends September 2025. I have been sent review form . .My question is if they decide I'm no longer awarded pip will this end straight away or in September when my original end date

It would end straight away as the decision on the review would override your original award.

Based on the length of backlogs with review decisions I would be very surprised if a decision is made by the time your current award is due to end. Your payments will continue until a decision is made.

I was surprised to receive review form as I won in tribunal.

PIP awards are for a certain amount of time.
As your award ends in September 2025 then about now is the correct time that you'd receive a review form.
Whether you were awarded at Tribunal or not, the process is the same.

Yes, this wasn’t how it used to work. What used to happen was DWP would contact you about 14 weeks before your award was due to end. They would ask if you wanted to continue to claim PIP you would need to ring to ask them to send you the PIP2 form.
Due to the extreme delays with review decisions they changed that and now contact you about 8 months before and send you the review form, rather than the PIP2.

Hey @neil12345, congrats on winning your tribunal! As Poppy and Kimmy have mentioned getting your review form now is fairly standard. However, with the backlogs it is very unlikely you receive a decision on the review before September 2025. You will still continue to receive PIP until there is a decision that says otherwise.
Also please remember that reviews have the same appeals process!
I recommend filling out the review form just like the application form.
