Decision maker doesn't have assessment report yet?

Hi all,
I have just had a pip assessment last Wednesday and I am waiting for the decision. I haven't received any text to say it's with the decision maker and judging from alot of these posts most of you did receive one within 24hrs. I'm starting to feel more anxious about the decision than the actual assessment which I don't know how I did on. Any words of advice?

Sometimes a report is chosen for audit, if this happens it will not be returned to DWP until the audit is completed. You can ring the assessment providers to ask if it’s been returned. If it hasn’t and it’s in an audit they will tell you.

Thankyou @poppy123456 ,i am guessing that is what they are doing. I am trying not to chase after anything incase it looks too eager. This is the first time I went through the assessment stage. I came off the call feeling disheartened, the assessor wasn't bad but I didn't feel I was able to explain anything well enough if that makes sense. No relief at all. Just purely anxious now.

Hi and welcome to the community @Mum2angelz202718 🙂 As Poppy mentions it is probably just that the assessment report is undergoing an audit. I would say, there is no harm in calling and asking what is happening. If the report has yet to be handed over to PIP you will need to call the assessor to ask what is happening.

If it's in an audit, there's no timescales how long it will remain there.
