UC - Overnight Care ?

Just seen a to do in my list about "tell us if you use an extra bedroom because of your disability"
I do have a a relative who comes over from time time when I'm having issues and my eldest sleeps on a pop up bed downstairs and the relative has their room.
Is this what they mean ?

My illness can be a bit up and down sometimes they come over in the week could be a month or more in between some a few months space and the length of stay can vary to in the help I need.

They are not listed as a carer either nor do they claim carers allowance they just help

If you already live in a 2 bed with your son, you won't get an extra room paid for because you don't have an extra room, you will already get Housing Element for 2 bedrooms and can't be paid more than your rent actually is.
If you do have a spare room, the threshold is frequently needing overnight care which from what you've written, doesn't apply.

My house consist of 4 bedrooms 3 dependants and one non dependant
I get pips daily living £72.65 a week no sure if that's relevant.
I thought it an odd question as I listed everyone who lives with me but I thought I do have a family member who comes over as above to assist me when I need extra help.
So this question is about what they will pay for the housing element

PIP Daily Living is relevant, your Housing Element won't have any deductions for the non dependant who lives with you.
If you are classed as fully occupied for Housing Element purposes then there is no extra room for them to pay for.
And as I advised the threshold is frequent overnight care which you don't receive.

I also thought full rent would be paid if on pips / esa support group equivalent ?

Ahhhh I see so I should click no ? to
Do you regularly need overnight care from someone who does not live with you?
even though I do but i'm not sure my needs are regular its very random. As I'm on pips its shouldn't affect bedroom tax / housing element if I understood it right and full rent will be covered.
I just wondered if this question was asked for the bedroom tax issue but I guess technically all rooms are occupied I don't have a spare room even if the eldest sleeps on a pop up bed.

DL PIP stops non dependant deductions from being made to your Housing Element. You live with one non dependant.
It doesn't automatically mean you get your full rent paid.
Some people on PIP under occupying still have to pay for the extra room themselves.
There is a tool where you can estimate your bedroom entitlement
(I know you don't privately rent but it's also used to see if working age people are under occupying social housing).
I do believe you should answer no to that question, because from what you've said the care isn't regular.
And if you qualify for all rooms to be paid for due to who lives there, there would be nothing extra for them to pay for as you wouldn't have a spare room, and you can't be paid more than your rent actually is.
