U.c will End me

If you’re claiming New style ESA at the same time as UC this is known as a dual claim. The ESA will be deducted in full from any UC entitlement and ESA will be paid fortnightly.

YEs I've had this since October and they've sent me this same message in December

They are automatic messages that don't require you to do anything. I know this because I get them too and they are always sent between 2-3am.
Sometimes I get them monthly for 3 months, then nothing for 5 months.
Appears random to me but there will be something programmed into the algorithm.
I ignore mine 😊

Please ring or contact an organisation such as TurntoUs or Disability Rights UK or Citizens Advice and ask them to help.

It's making me ill because they told me before I wasn't entitled to new style esa and that it would would be stopped then u.c said I shouldn't be on ot.Nobody has ever contacted me from there about commitments since September and it's now February

Hi Jane315STAR ,
These are just repeated messages they automatically send out. I know its difficult, but please don't worry, they are not personal to you.

Hi @Jane315STARX This is a safe place for you. Please do not let these messages upset you. They are sent automatically.
You do not have to be suicidal to get in touch with the Samaritans. You can call them anytime free from any phone. They will not judge you or tell you what to do.
Perhaps listen to some of your music.
Please take care.

Hi @Jane315STARX I'm going to pop you an email shortly. Please keep an eye out for it. 💛

Part of your original ESA claim was contributions based, which is why you're now claiming New Style ESA as well because the CB will have reverted to that.
Those messages are nothing to worry about and you can just ignore them, they are automatically sent out.

I remember you telling me this before and I spoke to someone about it all. They ( both departments) are extremely unhelpful and by them sending out these pointless texts continously it's just really stressing me out.I know it sounds absolutely pathetic but there we are.But you all have helped so much so thank you xx

Reading back the message I left for U.c earlier on the journal.I realised that the options are limited to how you now leave a message. You can only do it to your work coach, change of circumstances,or payment. So they are already in the process of making these changes in the system I think. There used to be assesacibility needs and I'm sure a few more.I think once you click into change of circumstances you are in for a bumby ride

I wish I didn't let it get to me but they do.Its like if someone gave you a food you didn't like and asking if you like it kind of thing

They are automatically generated messages.

Well they are in for a bit of shock at my reply to this last one.Even I'm quite surprised at what I wrote now that I've re-read it.But I'm glad on reflection because it might actually show someone what state it put me in

Can someone please help me.ive just had a letter now again for esa which says you are now not getting esa because you are claiming universal credit your income related amount is £48.50 less 00.00 so you would have been entitled to 48.50
0 -
That's because Universal Credit replaces Income Related ESA.
Unfortunately ESA letters are well known for being very difficult to understand, even for people with lots of experience.

But I don't understand what is going on now.they keep telling me different things every week.Im on just u.c then on both now I'm only on u.c I'm so stressed out
