What happens to my mobility car during appeal?

I currently get full pip after spending 2 years appealing and finally winning a tribunal…. It’s time for a review but they seemed to be being very picky and difficult, they guy who done my interview was clearly just reading a script and had no idea what I was saying for my answers asking me to explain things that I couldn’t ect I then got a message form my dr saying they had booked an appointment to discuss my forms so I’m assuming as my gp is relatively new they wanted to check my info before responding to the DWP,

My appointment with the GP is not for another week yet I’ve just had a message from the DWP saying my review is complete, now that fills me with dread thinking they’ve done that without supporting evidence from my go meaning I’ll probably lose my pip… now my question is what happens to my mobility car while I’m having to appeal? I’m wondering how long I’ll get before I have to take my son out of school due to not being able to take him any more ect…

also are the appeals for ongoing claims quicker than new ones?

Thanks in advance

    Hi,

Unfortunately if you lose the Enhanced Mobility award, then you will no longer be able to keep the car and Motability will contact you to return it.

If you keep the Enhanced Mobility award, but lose the Daily Living award, then you can keep the car while you go through the appeal.

    Hi!

If this is the review stage and you unfortunately lose the enhanced rate mobility then yes you will be contacted by mobility to return the car. However if you request a mandatory reconsideration then you will be able to keep the car until that decision is made.

If the MR outcome is also negative then you will need to return the car even if you choose to take it further to tribunal.

    Hope that helps.
