PIP reassessment

I'm currently on the standard rate for both elements of PIP. I believe I should be on the enhanced for both and plan to ring them. I believe this will trigger the full form being sent to me and that it will be treated like starting a fresh claim.

My question is what happens to your established PIP payments during the application, do they stop or carry on until a decision is made?
