Pip

I am hoping somebody can help me I’ve put a PIP claim in for my son. I phoned Pip today for an update and they said they received the assessment from medical assessors I’m assuming he’s had a paper based assessment, but they said they’ve had to send it back to the medical assessors but they couldn’t tell me why phone medical assessors and they said that they can’t see on the system that it’s been sent this happened to anybody what were the reasons it was sent back

Hi @deb1929, it's really difficult to know why they might have sent it back but I hope some of our members might be able to share any similar experiences they've had.
Unfortunately the answer may be to wait a few more days then see if you hear anything more. If you don't hear back it could be worth giving them another ring to see if there are any updates.
Hope you can find out what's going on soon.
