PIP Review

Hello!
I submitted my PIP review forms in November 2024, and the DWP received them in November 2024. I received a text this morning saying off the DWP that said “We still have your PIP form and will be progressing your review as soon as we can.” It said you might need still an assessment with a health professional etc..
I’m just wondering if this text message is normal procedure, or will they actually be reviewing my PIP review forms soon?
This is the first review that I’ve done.
Thanks

Yes, it's a generic text. They use the word 'soon' to be purposely ambiguous rather than putting a firm timescale on it.

Put in my review forms Nov 2023 and just had assessment last week Feb 2025. They texted every few months "we still have your pip form...." so it was 14 month wait for me

Wow, that's a really long wait @Mlau! Bet you're relieved the assessment is done now.
