I have recently been given a housing association flat after spending sometime in temporary accommodation and would like to know of any help that may be available to get carpet as there currently isn't any in the property

Hi Erin and welcome to the Scope forum 😊
Kimmy has given you some pointers. It's also worth looking on freecycle for offcuts or rugs being given away.
HA's now have to remove carpets before letting again. Mine offered a small decorating allowance when I took up the tenancy so it's worth asking yours about that.
