PIP mandatory reconsideration

Hi, I had a pip review 3 months ago and my award was reduced. I put in a written mandatory reconsideration with further evidence from support workers and a letter going through various inaccuracies in the accessment report. I called today to be told a decision had actually been made today but no letter had been uploaded so they couldn't tell me the decision. I am assuming the fact I haven't been called by a DM that the outcome isn't good? What are people experiences with this process? I feel so drained by it :(

I'd try not to worry too much @Kate777 a decision maker would only usually call if they have questions relating to evidence. So if they've not called, it could mean your evidence was enough for them to make a decision. 😊

Thank you so much for your reply. I have been really stressed overnight :( I don't know if I should try calling again today or if they need more time to upload the letter.

The letter may not get uploaded quickly, but I'm sure the decision letter will be with you via mail. It's usually 2nd class post, so I reckon you'll get something soon. 😊

I tend not to call the call centre, as the staff there often don't have the latest info, or may make mistakes. But I'd try and find something to take your mind off things until the letter arrives.

Thank you. I did call and spoke with a manager. I wasn't successful. They still went with the assessment report even though I sent evidence that contradicted the assessment. It makes me wonder if they actually read what you send :( Tribunal route it is unfortunately. Thank you for your replies.
