Who are pohwer

They're a charity that might be able to offer you some support with your call. Appreciate it might be more about the issues with them getting through, but if you were also anxious about the call itself, they may be able to offer someone to be present with you.

Hi all.
Its so hard to keep going at times.
I live alone and I often feel isolated and lonely.
The news is full of doom and gloom.
I am looking forward to warmer days.
I live very close to the sea and it has been so cold and windy here.

Amberpearl, I'm not sure on which thread you wrote about the UC review and 'missed' telephone appointment but this happened to me over a period of almost two years. JCP repeatedly failed to call either of my two numbers or would call outside of the appointment time.
I would leave a message in my journal each time to say they had not rung and the one day JCP did manage to ring my mobile phone at the arranged time, he terminated the call when I asked a question 😂
They are bullies, be in no doubt about that. But my payments were never stopped because they had (and have) no grounds to do so.

So they won't stop my money?
It's not my fault my phone never rang
I. Did explain in my journal
But agent was rude and not replied to my subsequent questions
My phone appointment is 10 march
What questions did they ask you please
Apparently they wamt more evidence, but never said what
I'm. Very anxious
What if they font call again

I also live alone and by the sea
It's a very worrying time

Yes I did say I'm my journal I was waiting with phone in lap for his call
They still marked it has failed to attend phone appointment though

It's what they did to me, repeatedly - wrote FAILED TO ATTEND when they had not rung me.

It's scary I was waiting for the phone call
I'm so worried it could happen again

I began to get depressed bad last Nov ..worst Christmas new year ever..was bad January then Feb I started walking my dog more, going bed earlier, generally not caring no more what people think about me.
I have good bad days emotionally..no family iñterested. Friends drifted away…so yes life is very hard.

I've been feeling really down past 3 weeks this has been the worst week though had 2 really bad carpal tunnel flares within 2 days feel like I'm meditated up to my eyeballs and during the day pain relief only lasting 2 hrs that's on a good day today isn't that only lasted 1hr today. I got my unpaid ssp sorted this week won't be receiving till next times pay. So 1 thing off my mind, still waiting on urgent cortisone injections only just reached the list and just been switched to different pain meds tomorrow. So 🤞that'll helps till the injections, but just feel like no one cares especially professionals and my employers, called the doctors and pharmacist up as I couldn't originally get hold of the doctors crying my eyes out in pain but couldn't take anything to elevate it as the earliest I could take pain relief was 2hrs away, receptionist called back 30 minutes after id taken pain meds, after lady from the pharmacist went there to explain how upset I was she said you have to call the doctors also said they can't leave you in this much pain. But they can and they did what is our NHS coming to. I remembered a time when you'd leave problems build up before going to them as you felt like you was wasting their time if it was for only 1 thing now they only want to deal with one problem per appointment and they still kind of make you feel the same way anyway though the doctor that emailed this morning was great but was just regarding advice via email in the last 3 weeks I have not had 1 face to face appointment with my GP

That sounds really tough @Robin0480, I'm sorry you're in so much pain and aren't feeling listened to. The health system can be really difficult to deal with these days. Hope the new pain meds kick in nice and quickly and help you feel more comfortable.

Thank you Rosie I started tramadol yesterday and I can honestly say it's the most main relief I've had in 3 weeks. 🙂I did contact private doctor from work yesterday at 5:15am as pain had flared up so much woke me up at 4:30am he said my GP had put me on stronger medication than he could provide and to contact 111 as he thinks I need to be seen face to face to investigate new symptoms. I had to take my son to a football match yesterday though at 11am so I thought I'd wait and see how I felt after taking tramadol and as you can see by the top of this message they are working for me so will contact my GP on Monday and explain what the private doctor said after a video consultation, see if they'll actually see me this time.

Fingers crossed they listen to you this time @Robin0480, glad you're getting some relief from the tramadol too 😊
