Did esa to uc migration on 24th feb went fine. Had this letter today saying they want copy of ID or birth certificate. I’ve been on pip and esa IR support group for years, Also my ID was accepted online when I did the changeover form. Was told it’s because they want to move people to contributions base but why would this be if im on income related0

Many people on ESA think they were on Income Related, but after migration find out part of their award was actually CB Based.
Your proved your ID online for UC, but this ID is for ESA which is run by a separate department and doesn't operate online.
