Happy International Women's Day 2025

This year's theme is 'Accelerate Action'. According to data from the World Economic Forum, it will take until 2158 to achieve full gender equality. That's if we stay at the same rate of progress we're at right now.
So this year, International Women's Day (IWD) are focusing on raising awareness of the important steps we can take as a society to achieve gender equality faster. They want to increase momentum and urgency to address the barriers and biases that women face throughout their lives.
Among a whole host of things, this action might include supporting women in leadership, helping women and girls make informed decisions about their health, and making sure women and girls have access to quality education and training across the world.
You can read more about this year's theme on the IWD website:
IWD: IWD 2025 campaign theme is 'Accelerate Action'
And in the spirit of International Women's Day, I thought this might be a nice opportunity to show some appreciation for the wonderful women of the world. So on that note:
Are there any women in your life that you've found inspirational?
It can be someone you know or a celebrity, anyone who has inspired you to action or helped you in some way. Would love to hear some stories! 💜
