PIP and Group Income Protection

Hi - does anyone know if being awarded PIP could affect Group Income Protection? It says on the policy Employment and Support Allowance will be deducted. Can PIP be deducted too? I am longterm off sick with EDS and associated disability.

If PIP isn't mentioned in the T & C's of the policy as a benefit that would be deducted, then the answer is no.

I have never been given the actual policy so I just don't know as the salary is all done through my employer. But it isn't looking good. I can see on the insurers site it says:
State benefits
We’ll deduct any state benefits an employee might be entitled to, such as Employment and Support Allowance (ESA). Where this is covered, the income protection benefit will be a percentage of the employee’s salary minus the state benefit.0 -
The terms & conditions should be on the insurers website somewhere. If not you can ask your employers for them.

Thanks! I will do that.
