Hi, please may someone confirm if I am eligible for free prescriptions?
I'm due to get my first payment from UC on 20th March after having migrated from ESA support group.
I will be getting £809 which includes the standard allowance and Limited capability for work and work-related activity.
If I am eligible do I need to show proof and how would I do that, or do I just tick the U box on the prescription?
Any help would be appreciated, thank you for your time 🙏

In your circumstances yes you qualify for free prescriptions.
Tick the U box (or JSA if it is an old prescription form) and if asked be prepared to show your latest UC statement as proof which you can do via smartphone.
