☘️ Happy St Patrick's Day! ☘️

Who Is St Patrick and why is he celebrated?
St. Patrick’s Day has been celebrated for over 1,000 years in a number of countries.
St Patrick (who was actually called Maewyn Succat) was born into a wealthy family in what was then Roman Britain. At 16 Irish raiders captured him and took him to Ireland as a slave.
At 16, raiders from Ireland captured him and took him to Ireland as a slave. During this time, he discovered religion. 6 years later, he received a message in a dream and escaped back to Britain. After 15 years of training, he became a priest.
He experienced another dream telling him to go back to Ireland to spread the word of Christianity, which he did! He founded many Christian communities throughout Ireland. The celebration traditionally commemorates St Patrick bringing Christianity to Ireland.
Will you be celebrating this year? ☘️
If you are, we'd love to hear about your plans!

Hi thank you that.
I have had a great weekend, first watching the rugby and then out to lunch yesterday and watching a live Irish band.
I am going out later for a few drinks and celebrate. ☘🇮🇪
