Housing element or rent
When migration to U.C happens I understand that Housing benefit continues for 2 weeks after you claim.So for example I will have to pay this £500 remaining out of my own pocket? Or loan?.If they don't work out my claim for 7-10 weeks like they have done with some people ill be homeless

Moved house on November 2023 when on income support , council tax was £18 a month went up £23 a month in new house , still on income support , migrated over to UC on June 2024 with Transitional protection, have now received a bill saying my council tax will be £57 a month, this doesn't seem right , any ideas , anyone else…
