Are reviews suspended or not?
Getting confused on if reviews for ESA are still suspended or not. I'm not talking new claims only reviews. Some on other forums have said they have received an ESA50 but I thought they were suspended. Am I right that reviews for ESA as in my mom's last assessment was in 2020 and if suspended she won't get a ESA50 in the…

Concerned about psych appointment for ADHD
So I have been struggling mentally for two years now but it goes further than that. Obviously I applied for ESA and I was awarded based on completing personal actions (which is still the case) Anyway, when I went to see a psychiatrist for ADHD, he diagnosed me but also dismissed all of my other problems in my letter he…

I’m currently in receipt of esa legacy benefit on support group and pip no housing benefit, if I sell the home I live in and buy something smaller in a different area to where I am at present and the new property is same price as the one I sell does it affect my esa? WCA - PIP Eating and Drinking
I know PIP and ESA serve different purposes but will the DM at DWP at least do a quick cross-check to see if I get PIP and the points given for certain activities before making a decision following the WCA ? I am thinking specifically of Q18 Eating and Drinking on the ESA50 which overlaps with PIP. I guess that by typing…

ESA has been completey stopped because of a PIP decision
Hi everyone! First time poster here! On 5th December, i reveived my PIP decision letter dated 24th November telling me that my PIP claim has ended after 7 years of claiming high rate enhanced and high rate mobility. ESA50 - not received by Advisory Service
I posted my completed ESA50 on 19th December. The Health Advisory Service have still not received the form - it had to be back by 5th January. If not received tomorrow I am told my case will be closed and I will have to contact the ESA team at DWP. What does this mean - will my assessment period payments stop? Will I be…

Q: Still employed, fit notes, LCWRA
My question is: If you have been found to be LCWRA and I know the DWP told my doctor not to issue any fit notes anymore. But I am still employed and because my company has strange HR decisions. I’m continually going through the same process of health meetings (which I know I’m lucky in some senses). I have continued to…

ESA50
By scoring a total of 15 points in any 'one' activity are you put by default into the limited capability for work related activities group or are there other considerations at play ? Is it down to the Health Assessor at the WCA or DWP ? ESA seems a lot more focused on specific tasks compared to PIP - how on earth do I get…

Severe conditions guidance re: assessments
Thought this link may be of interest to anyone on this forum claiming a disability benefit for a severely disabling condition - DWP guidance. I have no idea if this guidance is actually followed so please seek advice. https://www.disabilityrightsuk.org/sites/default/files/pdf/Severeconditionsguidance.pdf

What classes severe conditions?
I’ve been reading the forums and since my ADHD / potential autism diagnosis. I’m wondering what classes as a severe condition for ESA. I’ve seen a few posts of ADHD’ers and autism being classed as LCWRA indefinitely but I’m not entirely sure if that is correct. I know I’ve struggled my entire life but currently I’m on the…

is moving from ESA to UC a wise idea?
Hi all, so i’ve recently been placed in the support group for ESA but looking online I would be entitled to more money if I moved over to UC as i’ve seen i would be automatically placed in the LCWRA. Could someone please shed some light on the process? I don’t want to regret moving across so want to ensure I won’t be any…

Permitted Work - varied earnings.
Hi all. New here, so bear with me. I've had a bit of a trawl through previous threads, but not quite found the answer I'm looking for. So, hopefully someone here will be able to give guidance, as I'm sure someone will have experienced a similar situation. I'm on ESA (support), and I write books (self-published). I was told…
