Carers allowance arrears advice

Hey, looking for advice about this as Google isn't helping and I know carers allowance have messed me about.
I put in a claim for CA in march, was granted it but they messed up the dates. They're back dating it to January (should be August tho)
In may I recieved 250 ish back pay, as they had to work out the over payment from esa.
Fast forward, I'm owed around 1300. On the phone, they stated this clearly and apologised, but said they need to speak to ESA to work out arrears owed.
Called a few times, last being Wednesday where they clarified "you're getting a back payment, but esa take their time with these emails"
Today had a letter stating I'm owed £1294.90 however i won't be getting arrears paid as I was also paid £1294.90 from January to May from esa (obviously was more)
I got the SDP, I'm aware I'd lose around £30 per week of esa if I claimed carers. So my arrears should be around 700?
Could anyone offer advice, I have contacted the welfare rights rep I speak to. But I have very bad anxiety and it seems they're making an effort to mess about owed money.

I take it you are saying the CA should start from August because this is when the person you care for has received their disability benefit from and taht you made the claim within three months of them receiving the decision.flynnsarcade said:I got the SDP, I'm aware I'd lose around £30 per week of esa if I claimed carers. The carer premium will be added to your ESA £37.70 until 11th April, £38.85 since.
The Carer's Allowance will be paid separately and deducted from the ESA, £67.60 until 11th April, £****.70 since.
You would therefore expect to be owed CA of £29.90/week unto 11th April and £30.85 since. That's about £1,200/£1,300 depending on exact dates.
That doesn't make sense.flynnsarcade said:Today had a letter stating I'm owed £1294.90 however i won't be getting arrears paid as I was also paid £1294.90 from January to May from esa
It's not deliberate, just incompetence.flynnsarcade said:.. and it seems they're making an effort to mess about owed money.
They no doubt have more information that us about your situation so they are in a better position to give you detailed advice. Perhaps you need to set out all the relevant dates and schedule out the amounts received and demonstrate the amount still owed.flynnsarcade said:Could anyone offer advice, I have contacted the welfare rights rep I speak to.0
