I chased up the progress of my son's UC50 form (as his appointee). They say they are waiting for information from the GP. The GP never sees him.. It's always been the neurodisability consultant, who's details I provided on the form. Do they only ask GP's for information?

Hi, I'm asking for a friend. They recently went over to UC on receive paper statements as they don't use phones/computers. They have been awarded housing, personal allowance but are also deducted over £600 for ESA leaving £13 award. This doesn't seem right, can some one clarify.
