Hi all !
Just wanted some advice ...so back in June of last year my work couch put me forward for limited capabilities awards on my u.c ..at first I was turned down but the lady doing my case rang me and told me to go for mandatory reconcideration and more evidence to support this ..which I did ..I sent off my pip award letter (I've been awarded enchanted on both components)and all other evenidence ect ..this was in November and I've still not heard back yet but I know it can take time ..my question is will I get back dated from first time if awarded or will it be from the start of the reconsideration?I hope that makes sense.
Thankyou
Rachel x

The backdating of LCW or LCWRA status should be to the date of the original notification of your health condition supported by Fit Notes. If LCWRA is awarded the extra money is paid roughly four months after the start of the LCWRA status. Exact dates depend on what dates your UC payments cover and when the health condition was notified.1
