What would your New Year's resolutions be for those in power?

Here are some examples:
  • bring forward additional cost of living payments
  • build more affordable, accessible housing
  • implement a social energy tariff for disabled customers
  • invest more in accessible mental health services
Let us know what you think their resolutions should be in the comments below :)

I want to see standardisation of accessible housing.  Special housing is definitely important but all housing should be accessible by default, particularly the lower price end such as flats. Stop allocating all the accessible/ affordable housing to over 55s.

Sadly this excuse for a govt has no intention of sorting out the NHS, they realise they are in their dying days and will be pushed into opposition this year or next and have run out of ideas.

Their only answer to the current wave of strikes seems to be they want to make them harder next year..good luck with that.
But to be fair to the govt. there is little they can do about inflation other than hope it will come down this year, it might or it might not. They could reduce VAT to 15% for a year but the cost would be enormous, and at a time when debt v GDP is already 100% they have no money left.

Require developers to include a certain proportion of accessible properties in developments.
