hi
when completing the PIP form are there any keys words to use like with DLA?  Often / frequent / repeatedly etc…..not sure how to describe a symptom (spasm) that happens a number of times each day.

There's no specific wording you should use but remember DLA was about day and night time, PIP isn't about this. PIP is about how you're affected for at least 50% of the days over a 12 month period.
You should give a couple of real world incidents of exactly what happened the last time you attempted each descriptor that applies.
Include detailed information of exactly what happened, did anyone see it and what the consequences were. You should aim for at least half an A4 side of paper per descriptor that applies to you.

Thank you that’s great I’ll take a look.  I think I may be putting too much down? I’ve done 3 sheets for eating and drinking.  Saying all things my son struggles with, why and with examples.  I think I’m giving too many examples like for using a plate what he finds hard with that with examples, with a cup what he finds hard with with examples, cutlery with examples.  They are physical…. then I’m doing same again for each for cognitive difficulties for same and other things.  It’s a bit of a mind field and not sure if I need to be so detailed ?

You don't need to tell his life story because that's too much information. Be straight to the point, i usually keep it to 2 real world incidents and at least half an A4 side of paper per descriptor that applies to him.
    Remember, less is often more.
