That’s the risk you have taken, you should always get expert advice before making a change. The next step is a Mandatory Reconsideration, you have one month from the date of decision for this.

Was it a review and you were refused? If so then you can challenge that decision by first requesting the Mandatory Reconsideration. (MR)
You should put this in writing stating where and why you think you should have scored those points. Include a couple of real world incidents of exactly what happened the last time you attempted each descriptor that applies to you. Give detailed information such as where you were, what exactly happened, did anyone see it and what the consequnces were.
Timescales for decisions is up to about 12 weeks. If the decision doesn't change you can proceed with Tribunal. You can also get some expert advice and help from an agency near you. Start here. https://advicelocal.uk/

Oh no!! That's awful to happen. Common sense would say that if you are worse you should at least still get the same award, if not higher. I've always been too scared to report changes because of this sort of thing.
Do you know how to appeal the decision?

A worsening of condition doesn't automatically entitle anyone to more points for a higher award.

    Hello @Blossom50

I've merged your two threads together to help us keep track of your situation. To reply to this thread, just type in the big white 'Leave your comment' box at the bottom of your screen and press 'Post comment'.

If you have any other questions about your PIP or how to use the online community, please ask away.

Do you feel comfortable pursuing a mandatory reconsideration?  If not, please do seek free independent advice from a welfare representative - as suggested, by visiting Advice Local.

    Best of luck with it.
