I am on UC with my husband and I also receive PIP. I have provided fit notes since July 2022 and sent off my health assessment questionnaire in September 2022. I had my assessment on 8th December 2022 and received a letter on 24th of December stating I was awarded LCWRA and no need to send fit notes or look for work. it didn’t mention any extra payment or any back dated money. We receive UC on the 16th of each month. Can anyone advise if I will receive the extra payment for LCWRA and when this is likely to be please? Thank you

What date did you report your health condition/sent your first fit note? and did you continue to send the fit notes without any gaps until the decision was made?

In your first comment you said fit notes were sent since since July but now you're saying late June. I can't tell you when the LCWRA element is paid from without knowing the exact date you sent your first fit note.

Hi yes sorry I was confused just looked back I stopped being a full time student in June 2022 and so although we applied for UC in September 21 we finally received our first UC payment in June after my student status and SF payment was removed. I then began uploading continuous sick notes the first being submitted on the 2nd of June 2022 up until my current one (5th of jan)Health assessment form submitted 9th of September. Assessment 8th of December and award for LCWRA letter received 24th December.0

So your monthly period is 10th to 9th of the month.
You reported health condition in the May to June period.
The June-July, July-August and August-September periods are waiting periods.
LCWRA payable for September-October, the 16th October payment.
Hopefully it will be processed for your January payment.
Any arrears will be paid separately from your normal payment and can take a few weeks to calculate.
